CARRIGALINE PIPE BAND
Carrigaline for many decades was known for a Pottery and a Pipe Band.
The Pipe band was founded in the forties after the emergency as a offshoot of the LDF. It has participated in numerous competitions all over Europe and represented us several times at the famous Celtic festival in Lorient located a few miles from our twin town of Guidel. There is a fine Band Hall next to the Church.

The world renowned Carrigaline Pipe Band can be heard playing in the summer evenings and performing in the St. Patrick’s Day parade along with many other groups
