Church Road

This road connects the town with the industries of Ringaskiddy and the Woods of Currabinny as it runs eastwardly along the course of the Owenabue Estuary. Items of interest are: Pipe Band Hall, Community Complex and grounds, riverside walk and pond, Community School, Old Pigmart Walls, 'The Rock' and Cogans Castle. Aptly named - there are no less than four churches situated along this road - the Catholic Church, Baptist Church (meeting in the Community Complex), New Life Christian Centre and the Church of Ireland.
